It’s been another busy year here at The Foundry Agency! As always it has been non-stop with fun and exciting design, PR and digital projects and in this blog, we’ll take a look at some of our key highlights from this year.
The start of 2018 saw us working with Liverpool Vaults to launch the new safety deposit box facility in the iconic Liver Building. We were tasked with announcing the new offering in the city as well as planning and managing the official launch party!
We invited key people and organisations from the city to help celebrate the opening. Cllr Christine Banks kindly officiated proceedings by cutting the ribbon and saying a few words to mark the occasion.
We have also achieved some fantastic PR coverage for St Francis Xavier’s College in Woolton. One incredible student had written a book based on his experience of living with Asperger’s. The story appeared within key regional newspapers and magazines as well as on Granada Reports, which arranged an interview with him and featured him on the evening show.
Another highlight for the agency was working with Redwing Living, part of the Regenda Group, to assist with creating brand identities and marketing collateral for its new housing development, Bluebrook in Hambleton, Lancashire.
We even delivered a well-attended show home launch event for the development, complete with a musician, a branded prosecco van and yummy homemade biscuits in the shape of houses!
Sky Music Hub, the combined music hub for Sefton Council and Knowsley Council, tasked with us promoting its wonderful musical celebration which took place at the auditorium at the Liverpool Echo Arena. We designed a memorable event programme and wrote a press release regarding the show, securing a range of coverage in the region.
Then in the spring we were appointed to write and design the second edition of the Hub newspaper for Sky Music Hub. This eight-page newsletter included all the latest music news from each of councils, highlighting the incredible work that is going on in each borough.
Once again, we had the pleasure of working with the Educate Awards! We provided PR and social media support throughout the year as well as managing the prestigious event in November at Liverpool Cathedral.
The Educate Awards team even wrote and released a single for Children in Need as the award ceremony falls on the same evening. We helped to support the charity single with our PR services.
To top off the year, we have just created an incredible video for our retained client, Abbot’s Lea School in Woolton.
This fantastic school has its sights set on being the best specialist school in the world and an International Centre of Excellence in Autism Education, Research and Development.
To bring the school’s vision to life, we planned, directed and produced a video that showcases everything that this school has to offer. We’ll be unveiling the video in the New Year so keep an eye out!
Finally we’d just like to wish all our clients and suppliers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Here is to another busy 2019!!
